Please read these Owlfy Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") carefully. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as "User" or "You") and Silicon Geek Co., Limited, the developer and operator of Owlfy (hereinafter referred to as "We" or "Owlfy"), regarding your use of the Owlfy software and related services (hereinafter referred to as "Services").

Important Notice: By downloading, installing, registering, logging in, or using Owlfy, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by all the contents of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please immediately cease using the Services.

1. Service Content and Features

Owlfy is an AI-powered voice operating system for computers, designed to significantly enhance the efficiency of users' daily computer operations through voice interaction and AI technology. Our Services primarily include, but are not limited to:

Voice Input and Refinement: Provides voice-to-text conversion, text refinement, and translation services in multiple scenarios (such as office work and simultaneous interpretation).
Sonic Execution: Quickly launches applications, opens websites, searches for information, inputs preset text, and executes shortcut operations through voice commands.
Intelligent Processing (Text/Files): Performs AI processing on selected text or files, including rewriting, replying, format conversion, audio/video editing, etc.
Local AI Assistant (Agent): Invokes local or cloud capabilities to execute comprehensive tasks (such as file organization and email sending).
Remote Control: Allows users to remotely issue commands to their computers through third-party instant messaging (IM) software.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate part or all of the Services at any time based on business development needs.

2. User Account and Security

Account Registration: You may need to register an account to use certain advanced features. You agree to provide true and accurate registration information.
Account Security: You are responsible for properly safeguarding your account and password.
Remote Control Security - Special Terms:
Owlfy's "Mobile Remote Control" feature allows control of computers through IM software (such as WeChat, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.). You must ensure the security of your IM account.
Disclaimer: If your computer is remotely operated against your will (such as file deletion, privacy breach, etc.) due to your IM account being compromised, mobile phone loss, or malicious exploitation by others, Owlfy shall not bear any legal liability. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication for your IM software.

3. User Conduct Standards

When using Owlfy, you must comply with laws and regulations and shall not use the Services to engage in the following behaviors:

Illegal Content: Generating or disseminating any content that violates local laws and regulations (including but not limited to pornography, violence, terrorism, defamation, etc.).
Malicious Use: Using the "Sonic Execution" or "AI Assistant" features to write or execute malicious scripts, viruses, trojans, or to attack others' network systems.
Service Abuse: Reverse engineering or decompiling the Services, or using automated tools to abuse service interfaces at high frequency.
Rights Infringement: Using voice refinement or file processing features to infringe upon others' intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or trade secrets.

4. Data Privacy and AI Usage Rules

1. Data Processing:

Local Priority: Owlfy is committed to protecting privacy, with most file processing and command execution completed locally.
Cloud Interaction: For AI refinement, translation, or complex Agent tasks requiring high computing power, your voice/text data may be encrypted and transmitted to our servers or third-party large language model service providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) for processing. We commit not to store your original voice data for non-service purposes.

2. AI-Generated Content (AIGC) Disclaimer:

Accuracy: AI-generated content (including translation, refinement, Q&A, summarization) may contain errors, omissions, or "hallucinations." You should independently verify the accuracy of AI output results. Owlfy is not responsible for the correctness of AI-generated content.
Decision-Making Risks: Do not rely entirely on the AI assistant for decision-making in professional fields such as medicine, law, or finance.

5. Intellectual Property

Software Ownership: All copyrights, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property rights of the Owlfy software belong to us.
User Content: The intellectual property rights of the original files you process using Owlfy, the voice/text you input, and derivative content generated based on these, belong to you.

6. Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Service Stability: We do not guarantee that the Services will meet your specific needs, nor do we guarantee that the Services will not be interrupted.
Operational Risks: Owlfy shall not bear liability for compensation for file damage or loss caused by your use of "File Processing" features (such as format conversion, compression), or for erroneous operations caused by using "Sonic Execution" (such as accidental file deletion, mistaken email sending). We recommend backing up important files before processing them.
Third-Party Services: Owlfy may invoke third-party applications or websites. We are not responsible for the content and availability of third-party services.

7. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Owlfy be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including loss of business profits, data loss, etc.) arising from the use of or inability to use the Services.

8. Subscription and Refunds

Paid Services: Owlfy may include subscription-based paid features. Specific prices and benefits are subject to the purchase page.
Changes: We reserve the right to adjust service prices but will notify users in advance.

9. Agreement Modifications

We have the right to modify these Terms when necessary. Once published, the updated Terms shall replace the previous Terms. If you do not accept the modified Terms, please cease using the Services.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The establishment, effectiveness, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of HongKong. In the event of a dispute, both parties shall resolve it through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, it shall be submitted to a court with jurisdiction in HongKong for litigation.
